Krasnov is always blameless, never errs, is incredibly smart, and was chosen by God to build an American greatness like we’ve never seen before. If I’d ever personally met someone who’d said such things about himself, I’d have laughed out loud in disbelief and written the guy off as a disturbed clown… And yet tens of millions heard it and still blackened the space by his name. Incredible…

I think "other people" DID handle it. They gave a proclamation to trump and said "sign here." And since he hires only "loyalists" he believes them when they say he can do it. When he finds out he probably CAN'T he blames those "others" but can't blame them specifically because what would happen to a) loyalty and b) the Infinite Executive. So he blames leftist judges, like Justice Kavanaugh's law school roommate first appointed by Bush.

If he IS forced to name whoever wrote the proclamation, he will ALSO say "never heard of him."

He's a pathetic failing man whose pathologic narcissism makes him the perfect tool.

Well this is exactly what Musk recently retweeted and then deleted. "Stalin, Mao, and Hitler didn’t murder millions of people. Their public sector employees did." Also again the mafia tactic where the boss gives the order but isn't responsible for what Vini did. Or a president telling his followers to march to the Capitol and stop the steal.

I have to channel my inner Ludwig and ask/observe: "and you've observed what proportion of all collapsing democracies? I'm pretty sure you weren't an observer of the collapse of Athenian democracy ... such as it wasn't."

From Presidential Toddler to Executive insanity...25th Amendment?

Don't think that will work. Besides, who wants JD Vance as acting President. Even if the 25th was used, all Trump has to do is declare himself all better and get the group to say "he's fine now." Amendment 25, Section 4.

I am prepared to morbidly admit, that I would settle for Mike Johnson at this point.

Nope. Trump is a malignant narcissist. Vance is bought and paid for. And Vance is a chorus line from The Monkees. But he doesn't know what he believes in. He believes what his current Daddy tells him he believes.

Me, too. But using the 25th wouldn't give Johnson the presidency unless Vance is gone. Gonna have to get rid of Vance, too.

My thought is Vance won't last, anyway.

25th amendment, Sec 2

"Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress."

Trump will have a prolonged absence from the public in which only JD Vance is allowed to bring messages to the public from Tr*mp. Might last two weeks or two months, but it will be an inflection point for certain. The public will either see him acting Presidential and accept it after they are talked into it by the media ecosystem that talked them into Tr*mp in the first place OR people will recognize the moment and take to the streets en masse.

I don’t know which way it goes, but right at this moment I believe that nobody is looking to put up with any of this shit from President JD Vance. It’s really going to come down to whether they think it’s worth doing to spite the libs.

Interesting thought! It's a struggle to imagine who Trump might allow to represent him in public. At this point, Cabinet members, his Press Secretary, and his entrenched sycophants are doing it. It's all "the President wants..." and "the President has the right to..." It's hard to imagine who he might be grooming to serve as the next President. If there is one.
