I wanted you to know that. Even if you don’t believe me. Even if you think it’s pretentious. Even if you think my ego has overfilled the cup. I still wanted you to know. Because this is what I think.
I have spent months wrestling with something—something vast, something urgent, something that I cannot unsee. And now, I am laying it bare. Not because I expect universal agreement. Not because I need validation. But because it would be dishonest not to.
These Notes from the Circus are my declarations, my reckonings with the world as it is. The cognitive revolution I speak of is not just an abstract theory—it is the fight to preserve human meaning against forces that would reduce us to inputs in a system too vast to comprehend. It is my argument against the dissolution of coherence itself.
I have no illusions about how this will be received. There will be those who roll their eyes. Those who say it’s too much. Those who dismiss it as intellectual vanity, as self-importance dressed in rhetoric. But I accept that. I accept it because this is not about my name, my reputation, or even my legacy.
This is about refusing to let the abyss win.
So, here it is. These are my notes. This is my stance. And if you are willing to listen—to truly listen—then perhaps you will see what I see.
And if you don’t? That’s fine too. But at least now, you’ll know.
